for the macros mostly I use a comfortable 35mm SLR System, in this case Nikon D3 and Nikkor AF 200/4 micro with a tripod with an arca swiss ballhead. Sometimes I use my old Nikons with Fuji Velvia, a pity I have no scanning device. But digital is in this case my favorite 'cause of the huge amounts of try and error
